Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Audio calls are free, with no sign-up. Video calls will come later as part of Call Plus.
Does the other person need an app?
No. They just tap the link and the call opens in their browser — on a phone or a computer.
What happens to the link after the call?
When either person ends the call, the call is closed and the link stops working. If you need to talk again, start a new call — it takes one tap.
Are calls recorded?
No. Calls are not recorded or stored. Audio travels encrypted between you and our call server only while the call is happening.
Can more than two people join?
Not at the moment — Call is for one-to-one conversations, so a call can only have two people in it.
The other person can't hear me.
Check that your browser is allowed to use the microphone (look for the microphone icon in the address bar), that you aren't muted, and pick the right microphone in the call's audio settings.
